Water Docs

Over the course of 4 semesters doc|UWM students worked with The Greater Milwaukee Committee and The Milwaukee Seven Water Council to create a series of short videos about fresh water researchers in south eastern Wisconsin. We are now in the finishing stages of post-production and shall be rolling out a few of these videos each week. The sum of all the videos will be housed on a web page designed to inform those in the region as well as globally about the variety of research in the area in the hopes of transforming south eastern Wisconsin into a world water hub.

Cream City Soundcheck

18 students are producing 9 short music documentaries about bands performing at the historic Turner Hall. Before each band performs our students travel with the bands to unique Milwaukee locations in the hopes of getting a taste of Milwaukee’s culture. In preparation for some of the nationally recognized acts that our students will be documenting, each crew of student filmmakers is producing a practice piece that highlights an up-and-coming local act.
